Should you require a direct link to resources* available within a file space, you can link directly to the root level of a Filespace, individual files or directly to particular folder/subfolder directory structures.

In order to access direct links, the recipient requires the file space shared secret* and LucidLink operating system client installed: please see here for Windows, macOS and Linux client installation instructions

A direct link comprises of the following syntax:

lucid://lucidlink.com/file/<filespace.domain>

lucid://lucidlink.com/file/<filespace.domain>/<path>/

lucid://lucidlink.com/file/<filespace.domain>/<path>/<file>

When a direct link is pasted into a web browser, the client will launch with the file space name pre-populated, at the prompt for the shared secret - once the shared secret is validated against the file space, our operating system client will open directly the file or folder supplied within the link.

Example:

lucid://lucidlink.com/file/filespace.domain/folder/file.txt

*please note: all resources are available once a shared secret is shared as the shared secret provides full access to the file space. User access control future development.
