LucidLink allows you to specify a cache location via the command line when linking to your File space. Your cache location could be a separate drive or anywhere appropriate on the system. Use cases are increasing your cache for applications or workflows which would benefit from a larger default cache of 5GB.


1. Launch Lucid daemon


    Windows CMD: start lucid daemon

    Windows Powershell: Start-Process -WindowStyle hidden -FilePath "C:\Program Files\Lucid\Resources\Lucid.exe" -ArgumentList "daemon"

    Linux: lucid daemon &


2. Link to your File space with --root-path option


    lucid link --fs <filespace.domain> --password <sharedsecret> --mount-point <path> --root-path <path>
